All the reasons already stated still hold. There is absolutely no need for a Live Aid style concert. The original Live Aid raised awareness and money for the crisis in Africa. But the awareness of this crisis is already at about 100%, and the money is flooding in faster than it can be spent. In short: There is absolutely no excuse for putting on a concert with massive overheads to raise money that would have been donated anyway.

If the famous people of the world want to help, how’s about just donating some fucking money. None of this farking about with self-publicising shite. And someone punch Bono if he even starts speaking about it. Please.
