The French have rejected the EU constitution. Which means, effectively, that said constitution is dead in the water. Which means that the EU will continue as is. Which means that there’s even more time for the citizens of europe to notice that they’re subjects of a fuckup of epic proportions.
I still want there to be a UK referrendum, though. And a Dutch one. And an Irish one. I want as many ‘no’s as possible. I want the bureaucrats in Brussels to realise that they can’t have it all their way.
More than that, I want european countries to take their countries back. And I think that this vote is one small step along that road.
My first thought on hearing the result? Oooh Ed’ll be pleased.
