Music makes the lesson go better

Inside Man is a rather good film, with a very good cast. Jodie Foster, Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, Willem Dafoe & Chiwetel Ejiofor all do mighty fine in it.

It also has a very good opening sequence, despite it being not much more than a van drive being put to music. It’s all in the music, you see. Apparently it’s a classic Bollywood style track, but it survives the transition very well.

Another transition it’s survived is into the classroom. In this case the teacher is Mr The Dissident Frogman, and the pupils should be the good people at AFP, who are jackasses. But it’s a lesson that all should be aware of, plus it’s delivered in humourous fashion, with a classy soundtrack. Go watch.
