Were you by any chance trying to board an EasyJet plane from Belfast International at around 1530 this afternoon? Did you happen to notice a little insect like shape over at stand nine? Because if you did, you could have waved. It’d have been nice to have the company.
In somewhat related news, today I did my qualifying cross country. This meant landing at three different airports and flying a route of over 100 nautical miles. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but it boils down to this: due to random inconsiderate airlines blocking Aldergrove and me forgetting how to properly use the radio at City, I had 2 and a half hours in a cockpit with nobody to talk to and nothing to listen to other than the air traffic control radio. So I’m glad that that’s over, now I can get on with other, less rigid things. That don’t have me talking to myself for company.
