Laziness

Since we moved in to the house over the summer, I’ll confess that I’ve gotten really quite lazy. I drive to work far more often than I walk, because of the ease of it – the drive takes ten or fifteen minutes, the walk takes an hour. Simple as.

However, with the current excellent weather round here, I’ve taken to walking simply because I don’t trust some of the drivers on my route. Lots of them don’t manage to drive sensibly in perfect conditions, so I just want to stay clear of them when the ground is slippy.

It also means that I get to walk through London in the snow, which is always nice. The place seems much calmer when the sound is muted and the landscape is all white…
